Online Slots Strategy: The Secrets of Winning

August 20, 2020 by Dan

In today’s digital era, online slot machines are soaring in popularity across the globe for various reasons and outcomes. For instance, while some punters delight in online Vegas slots for real money to multiply their winnings and clear their debts, others play in a bid to take home the jackpot. Irrespective of the reason for playing, one thing is clear as day: online slot machines are here to stay.

When it comes to the murky waters of online slots winning strategy, a barrage of people is inclined to believe there’s none. But, this is far from the truth. So, without further ado, let’s explore the most essential strategies when playing online slot games that will put you steps ahead of your competitors and boost your chances of winning.

1. Set a Budget and Stick to It

The easiest way to last longer in the game is to select an online slot that’s suitable for your given budget. Inevitably, the higher wagers you place compared to your budget, the sooner it’ll be time to call it a day and step off the stage. While it may seem obvious, a multitude of gamblers get burnt out too early in the game by getting complacent, cocky, and taking risks that are uncalled for.

The beauty of online slot games is that they typically have a broad betting range which implies that you can bet anywhere between a few cents and a couple of hundred bucks on each payline. So, this grants you free rein to take baby steps making your way to the high roller end of the spectrum. And, by starting small, you get longer playing durations.

As a rule of thumb, always decide on the amount you can afford to lose before you start playing an online slot. Doing so will give you insight into the slot games you should play and will prevent you from depleting your bankroll in a jiffy.

2. Learn the Paytable

Each online slot has a unique paytable. It gives players insight into the jackpot, game symbols, payout rate, betting range, and bonus features such as Wilds and Scatters and their respective payouts. So, by taking the time and patience to learn the paytable, you’ll fully grasp what’s at play and even come up with strategies that can elevate your likelihood of winning.

3. Target Smaller Jackpots

Slots with small jackpots have low volatility which means they offer more frequent payouts. So, if you’re aim is to score a win but aren’t after the big bucks, then low volatility slots are right up your alley. Contrarily, high volatility slots with huge progressive jackpots are unarguably enticing. But, it’s a double-edged sword because the odds are usually against you.

4. Practice Free Gameplay

Nowadays, online slots offer players the option to delight in the action for free or with real money bets. So, you can enjoy the thrill they bring without being tied down financially. And, the best part is that you’ll be playing as though you placed a real wager. So, this eliminates the pressure of feeling as though you have to put your life savings or house on the line. It all boils down to the willingness to learn, time, and fun it brings. By playing for free, you learn the most ideal way to place bets just as you would if your money was on the line. And, you can pick up a few playing tactics that work for you and steer you towards the road to success when you feel confident enough to bet your hard-earned cash.

5. Bonus Features

As you revel in the exhilarating world of online slots, it’s no secret that bonus features can be the make or break when it comes to taking home decent wins. So, gravitate more towards online slots that offer a myriad of bonus features ranging from Free Spins, Multipliers, and Wilds (including Expanding or Sticky), to Scatters. Then, learn how to unlock them to increase your chances of winning.

6. Be Patient

Regardless of the rush of excitement that you may be engulfed in while playing online slot games, it’s advisable to exercise patience before making any move. Think about every move you make, especially when real money is at stake. Doing so is essential when you’re reveling in bonus rounds or predicting a possible win. Playing hurriedly means you won’t pay attention to detail and in turn, miss out on winning opportunities that may crop up.

To Wrap It Up

Keeping these tips in mind, you now have an in-depth understanding of how to win online slots. But remember, while you cannot predict the winning outcomes, you can still take the necessary steps to diminish your losses and give yourself the best odds of winning. Simply select the slot machine that tickles your fancy, ensure you have a budget in place, set the reels in motion, and you’ll be on the road to stardom.

4 Most Common Problems for Dog Parents

March 12, 2020 by Dan

If you’ve recently welcomed a new pup into your home, you want to do everything you can to give him the life he deserves. Having a furry friend to keep you company can benefit both you and your pet in a myriad of ways. According to research, becoming a dog parent has been linked to an improved mood, better heart health, reduced stress levels, and greater empathy. Likewise, you can give your dog a better life by bonding with him and taking good care of him.

While the journey you’re about to embark on with your dog will be filled with opportunities for fun and quality time together, it’s important to be prepared for the tough spots as well. Bringing a new pet into your home is a major responsibility that comes with its own challenges and setbacks. To ensure that you’re up to the task, it’s crucial to know what you can expect from owning a dog for the first time. The following guidelines will help you assess your dog readiness and offer you practical solutions for common problems that you might face.

  • Shedding

The idea of cleaning up the mess that your shedding dog left behind isn’t something that you want to think about as a new pet owner. If you’re particularly fussy about cleanliness, this potential issue could be even harder to come to terms with. Fortunately, not all dog breeds shed, and it’s worth your time to do research on this topic before you choose your new pet.

If you still find fur scattered across your home, don’t panic just yet. Your standard vacuum may not be able to erase all the damage, but the best vacuum for pet hair can. Consider investing in a vacuum that’s designed to clean pet hair if shedding has become a significant problem. This can ultimately help you save time and make it easier to maintain a clean living space.

Additionally, remember to use your vacuum for pet hair on a regular basis instead of waiting for the damage to build up. Cleaning up messes as soon as possible helps you build the habit of tidying up and makes your job a lot easier as well. While your vacuuming schedule may vary depending on how messy your pet is, try to clean up at least once a week to keep your home properly polished.

  • Excessive Barking

Dogs use barking as a means of communication, and a few yelps here and there shouldn’t alarm you. However, if you can’t open the front door without having your dog insist on barking incessantly, it may be time to find a solution.

The most effective way to address excessive barking is to let your dog grow acclimated to disruptive sounds. For example, you can start out by having a friend or neighbor lightly tap the front door. If your dog doesn’t bark, praise him verbally or give him a treat. Repeat the process while asking your friend to gradually increase the noise level. Once this goes on for a while, your dog will begin to recognize that there’s no imminent danger every time someone arrives at the door. As a result, he will stop reacting by barking needlessly.

  • Chewing

Chewing is a completely natural activity for dogs, but it can be a headache for owners. If you’ve come home from work to find that your pup has chewed through your new pair of sneakers, it’s time to set things straight.

Fortunately, getting your dog to give up his chewing habit is easier than you think. A simple way to start is to give your pet enough chewing toys to keep him occupied. When introducing your pup to chew toys, it’s crucial to implement positive reinforcement as much as possible. Reward him with a treat whenever he gnaws on a toy instead of an object that isn’t meant for chewing.

To further discourage your dog from chewing your belongings, try to connect his chew toys with mealtime. For example, if you use his toys to feed him or place one of his toys next to his dog bowl, your dog will be much more likely to associate his chew toys with a positive experience. Overall, keep persisting. Your dog will eventually take the hint and stop chewing when he isn’t supposed to.

  • Leash Pulling

Dealing with an uncooperative dog during walks can be a struggle for new owners. When your pet pulls on his leash, you may have trouble getting him to do his business and find yourself spending more time outside than you planned. To fix this issue, it helps to understand the way your dog’s mind works.

Dogs are naturally curious creatures who are always searching for the next opportunity to explore. When your pet constantly pulls on his leash to sniff the same spot, he likely smells traces that another dog left behind, and he’s eager to take in this information. This is where you come in. To get your dog to give up the constant sniffing and licking, you need to keep him fully engaged throughout the walk.

Instead of simply pulling him along the sidewalk, pay attention to your pup. Talk to him throughout the walk and be sure to use an encouraging tone. This can be especially helpful if your furry friend takes a while to do his business. If you typically stick to the same route, try switching to a new one. By keeping your dog excited and interested from start to finish, you can get him to direct his attention to you instead of whatever he’s trying to sniff.

Handling Your New Dog Like an Expert

While dogs are extremely lovable pets, they may cause you to run into problems that you weren’t quite prepared for. Fortunately, by keeping these simple guidelines in mind, you can welcome your new pup into your home with confidence. Before you know it, you’ll be able to overcome any obstacle and focus on creating a meaningful connection with your brand new dog.

Skills You Can Practice Playing Casino

October 23, 2019 by Dan

While many people think that when they play online casino games, it’s simply a way of wasting money, it can actually teach you a lot of valuable skills. Let’s take a look at a few of them.

Budgeting for casino

To play online casino responsibly, you need to know how to budget. Or if you did not know already, having burnt your fingers once by overspending probably taught you how to. You would be amazed at how easy it is to overspend at casinos. The bets just seem so small compared to what you could win. Before you know it your pockets are empty and you don’t know where the time has gone. Budgeting is thus a skill that players have to master from the get go.

Casino Patience

Physical and online casinos will teach you to have patience. To play at a casino loyally for years in hopes of hitting that jackpot takes patience and dedication.

Awareness

Even though casinos do not require any skill, you still need to focus and be aware of what is going on around you. Zoning out and playing mindlessly could lead to overspending. So playing casino games will teach you to focus on something, but at the same time be aware of what is going on around you.

Take Calculated Risks with online casino

Casinos will teach you how to manage risk. Good casino players will always do their research to ensure that they are playing at the best online casino possible. They will use the information gathered and choose their casino game or bets accordingly.

Start Small and Build Steady

Avid UK casino players know that some casino online pay out more than others (smaller prizes) while other casino games offer the biggest jackpots but rarely pay out. Players who prefer to play at slots that pay out more frequently know that you have to start small and build your winnings in that way instead of spending lot of money and never winning the progressive slot you have your heart set on. This is a skill that could be applied to many other areas of your life.

Spotting Potential

Playing casino for a long time will teach you how to differentiate between the good and the bad by just looking at the features it has to offer. This good eye and attention to detail is an invaluable skill.

Perseverance when playing casino online

This is one of the more understated skills that playing online casinos can teach players. When playing online casino slots, there will be times when it seems that the machine has gone cold. You might be wondering why you keep on playing, but still you persevere. On that next spin your luck could change. Giving up too soon would have led to you missing out on that win.

5 Niche Blogging Ideas

September 17, 2019 by Dan

Most people who have a solid grasp on the English language, and an internet connection, have probably toyed with the idea of becoming a blogger at some point in the past few years. From the outside, it looks like a dream job. You get paid to write about things you’re interested in, people send you free stuff, and your favorite band ends up becoming your sponsor. Better than that, people hang off your every word, and you get to feel a little bit like you’re famous without the inconvenience of being photographed by paparazzi every time you leave the house to buy milk. In extreme cases, people are earning seven figures a year from blogging.

All of the above is only applicable to the very brightest and best in the blogging world, though. The majority of people who start blogs never make enough from them to consider it as a full-time idea. There are a million reasons why a blog might fail to attract eyeballs, but one of them occurs more frequently than all the others; the wrong choice of blog.

We’re several years into the era of blogging now, and the popular subjects are well and truly saturated. If you’re considering starting a blog about fashion or make-up, forget that idea completely. Even professional journalists can’t get a successful fashion blog off the ground anymore; there are simply too many of them. Instead, pick a niche interest of yours, and go with that. If you don’t have a niche interest, get one. Where there’s less noise, there’s more chance of your voice being heard. Here are a few areas where we’ve identified a shortage of bloggers.

  • Popular (but non-mainstream) Sports

There are thousands of popular blogs on football (both actual football and the American variant), and basketball, and baseball. There are plenty of blogs about boxing, just about enough about MMA, and a surprisingly high number covering professional wrestling. Your best bet for a sporting blog is picking a sport that has a large following, but a reduced media profile. Cricket would be a great choice – millions of people all over the world watch cricket (especially in India and Pakistan), but it gets far less coverage than football in Europe, and almost none at all in the USA. Motorsports also don’t seem to be a popular topic among bloggers, and bizarrely ice hockey also isn’t all that well-represented. If you could come up with a funny and informative blog about one of these sports, you’d stand a good chance of being found by its fans.

  • Rock Music

This one is absolutely astonishing, but there’s a real shortage of blogs about rock music. It was once the most popular form of music in the world, but in recent years it’s been completely replaced by mainstream pop, dance, and hip hop. When’s the last time you saw a rock band break through and make it really big? When’s the last time you saw a new name take a headline slot at a rock festival? It’s been years. That’s because there are no bands breaking through. It’s not that the bands aren’t out there – there are thousands of them – it’s that nobody knows where to find them. If you’re into rock music and you like going to gigs featuring unknown bands, you could become an online musical gateway. Also, your tickets would probably be free. Double win!

  • Gambling

Many people fancy themselves as a gambler, but few of them really know how to go about it. If you’re a skilled gambler, sharing your tips would probably win you a lot of readers quite quickly. If you’re not, your journey from beginner to becoming a skilled player would be a fascinating read. Mobile slots would be a good place to start with this – they’re currently the most popular type of slot gaming. As technology has progressed, playing mobile slots on a handheld device as replaced playing online slots sat a computer as the most popular way to engage with the hobby. As mobile slots players are, by default, internet savvy, finding your blog should be no problem for them. Also, hundreds of new mobile slots are released to online casinos and their sister sites every month. Someone has to review them, so players know what to play and what to avoid in related casinos. Why can’t you be that person?

  • Space

Show us someone who’s never looked up at the stars and wondered whether we’re alone in the universe, and we’ll show you a liar. Outer space has long been one of humanity’s greatest fascinations, but generally isn’t something we spend a lot of time discussing with our friends. Very few people are talking about it online, either. Whenever space-related news turns up – for example, the discovery of an Earth-like planet being found around an alien star, or a new set of pictures received from a space telescope, we tend to get the news straight from NASA or the European Space Agency. The language used in those reports is often cold and scientific. If you could relate it in layman’s terms and make it entertaining, people would probably much rather get their news from you. You might need to develop a scientific mind for this idea if you don’t have one already, though.

  • Humor

Almost every blog seems to want to teach us something. Even the other ideas we’ve looked at above involve imparting knowledge. The majority of blogs are either informational or promotional, and it shouldn’t be that way. Sometimes – and especially in the times we’re currently living in – people just want to be able to log onto the internet and laugh. If you can make people laugh, your audience will soon come and find you. Do you have funny stories from work? Tell people. Tell people the most embarrassing thing that happened to you. Tell people about the funniest thing you ever saw. Share funny things you find on the internet. They can be big laughs or little laughs – so long as they’re funny people will appreciate them, and they’ll appreciate you. This could also include reviews of your favorite comedians and comic films. You’d be surprised by how many reviews you see online are actually paid for by the people being reviewed, and a blog like this would be a pleasant way of finding out.

In all of the above, originality is a good foundation stone, and personality is key. Speak in your own unique voice, and you’ll find that it resonates with people. Happy blogging!

Run An Internet Business? How To Build Up Your Reputation

August 1, 2019 by Dan

In years gone by, building reputation was a simpler task than it is today. Reputation managers would focus on slow and malleable methods of enhancing reputation, such as newspapers, and there would be fewer opportunities for things to go wrong. However, with the dynamic and user-generated world of the web now so dominant, reputation-building has changed. Here’s how to get a positive experience for your online firm’s brand out there.

Reviews and blogs

Reviews and blogs are some of the main ways that new customers find the services they need. Your customers may well post these organically, and it could be worth incentivizing them to do so through the use of prizes and rewards. It’s also possible to engage the services of websites that ensure that your brand gets the reviews you deserve in all the right places.

Guest blogging services like these have dual benefits. Not only do they enhance your reputation in a direct and obvious way by showcasing information about your company to potential consumers, but they also add to your online reputation by raising the number of links that point to your website – which pushes you up the ranks of Google, and helps expose your website to a wider range of possible customers and in turn increases revenue. In short, there’s no reason not to investigate it.

Word of mouth

While the term “word of mouth” is often associated with physical businesses (such as local home repair firms) in the minds of reputation builders, it’s worth noting that it’s still highly relevant even in the busy world of the web. Users still review businesses online, even ones that are themselves exclusively internet-based. Forums, for example, are the sort of place where specialists such as web designers and coders congregate, and these can be breeding grounds for bad reviews if your services aren’t up to scratch. And the rise of social media means that complaining is now easier and more public than ever before.

It’s possible to manage bad reviews retrospectively, perhaps by having a comment moderation function in place or by instituting a policy of always replying and offering apologies, discounts or something else. However, it’s also possible to ensure that you prevent as many bad reviews as possible by focusing on good service and product delivery from the start. That way, you’ll always be able to rely on your customers to be your main mouthpieces!

Whether you run an e-commerce store, a web hosting company or something else altogether, there are all sorts of reasons why you might want to build the reputation of your online business. Looking at the services of a guest blogging site is a good move, as is reminding customers to leave a good review. By investing time and money in ensuring that services are always top-notch, you’ll be able to build a network of brand ambassadors who will do your marketing for you!

Life Goals: A Simple Guide to Establishing Independent Living

June 29, 2019 by Dan

As people mature and become economically stable, the idea of independent living is one of the life goals that they want to achieve. Although it entails a lot of physical and emotional preparation, moving out from the comfort zone enables a person to grow more and be ready to face the realities of life. The start may be painstaking as necessary adjustments should be made, but the capacity to make significant decisions in life increases as they take their path.

Set the objectives

In deciding to live independently, making a projection, setting long-term goals, and targeting a timeframe are essential to keep life on track. Objectives might include career development, planning to have a family, and making life stable until reaching retirement age. Although it is hard to foresee what is going to happen in the future, the objectives set will serve as the guiding principles to achieve every aspiration in life. What is being arranged can be checked from time to time to ensure that everything falls in its proper place as planned.

Plan the details

Dealing with the particular aspects of the process is much easier than the setting of objectives since it only requires a few matters like a place to live in, the expenses, necessary preparations, and a schedule for moving out. But it cannot be done in a short period. The planning and preparation can last for years since it is a significant decision to make. The hardest part of this phase is the financing that will require saving money to live independently.

Share the plan and inform your loved ones ahead of time

Before executing, it is essential to share your plans with your loved ones and get their insight about your decision. You should also inform them ahead of when the moving out will happen, and the location of your new dwelling. The family may at first object to the idea, but through proper explanation and laying down the objectives. They may even lend a hand to help you with your plan of moving out for good. Emotionally, it is hard since you are used to living with your loved ones and living independently detaches you from the usual care given by the family. Your friends should also know your plans to provide you with their support, especially in the adjustment period.

Prepare everything

A new life means a new place to stay, a new environment to adapt to, new furniture to set-up, a new neighbourhood, plus additional obligations to handle. The usual things that should be prepared are the packing of personal stuff, utilities for the house, buying appliances and other household items, and making some finishing touches to the place before moving. All the individual needs may not be completed at once, so it is fine to ensure the necessities for the meantime. When everything is in place, it will be easier to move in and start the life you chose to live.

Living independently is a bold move to make. What matters is the readiness to embrace the life that you want to establish on your own.

Types of Slot Machines

June 27, 2019 by Dan

Slot machines have a much deeper history than many people probably realize. In the US, these machines, also known as “nickel-in-the-slot machines,” have been around since the 1880s. Back then, they were more novelty items than gambling devices, however, and could usually be found in saloons. Some of these machines could earn its players winnings, such as free drinks or cigars. But by 1900, they started paying off in coins, much like the machines we use today.

In Great Britain, slot machines are also called “fruit machines.” And the name is pretty fitting because most of them use fruit images on their displays. But if you don’t frequent casinos much, you might not realize that there are actually several types of slot machines in most establishments. And while many of them still do use fruit images, there are various types of devices you can use.

Traditional slots

Traditional slot machines are probably the ones most often thought of. They’re the basic classic type of device with three to five reels, but the most basic ones have just three. These machines came about around 1899 and have never left the scene. Traditional slot machines have three physical wheels with 10-30 symbols (or stops) each. And usually, the more symbols the wheels have, the lower the odds and the higher the payout. The idea of the basic slot machine is that there is only one payline, no matter how many wheels it has. So if your symbols line up in the middle line, you’re a winner.

Multi payline slots

Multi payline slots are the next level up from traditional slots because there are multiple ways to win. Usually, with these types of machines, the player chooses the lines to bet on. If one line is chosen, it would mean the symbols have to line up and match in the middle. But you could also choose several lines in which there are more patterns and chances to win. For example, a five-line wager, you might win with three cherries that are diagonal. Each slot machine is different in the way it figures earnings, but your chances are much greater the more lines you play. You’ll find machines similar to these in major casinos across the globe and on Bingo sister sites online.

3-D slots

3-D slots were made to appeal a little more to the video game crowd. Most of them have characters and narratives, making them a little more interactive than just pulling a lever or pushing a button once. They’re usually animated with popular television or movie characters and some are much more well-designed than others.

Video slots

In 1975, a slot machine called “Fortune Coin” was created by a man named Walt Fraley. These games transitioned slots into the era of video games and away from the need to have mechanics for spinning wheels. And while they didn’t replace traditional slot machines, they certainly revolutionized them. These devices made it possible to add many more line counts, combinations and images than before. And they also paved the way for online gambling as we know it today.

Progressive slots

Progressive slots came about soon after video slots. They allow for bigger “pots” because they keep accumulating money until someone wins. This works similarly to the lottery in that the more people who play, the bigger the pool of money gets. Some casinos just have one designated progressive slot machine. But thanks to advanced technology, they can also link multiple machines together, even at different locations to add more money to the pool. These slots can pay out millions of dollars if the casino chooses to utilize the technology.

Things to Consider in Making Your Bathroom Kid Friendly

May 5, 2019 by Dan

Transitioning from single to family home life requires making some tweaks to your home to make it child friendly. We all know what happens when children get a hold of things that they shouldn’t, and many accidents occur at home because not every home is suitable for kids. If you have small children at home and it is not yet safe for them, there are simple things you can do yourself to make sure that you can rest easy knowing that they are safe even if you don’t have your eyes on them.

The bathroom is one area that you have to child-proof, as you are dealing with water – both hot and cold – and fixtures that can pose a danger to children.

  • Mats. You should place non-slip mats all over your bathroom. Shower pods are one of those areas that you should always have a non-slip mat in. Kids love to play during shower time, and during that time they can slip on the floor and hurt themselves. Mats will prevent their feet from slipping on the wet tile floor.
  • Fixtures. Make the vanity a little taller, at a height that they will not easily reach, so that anything on the vanity is safe from your kids’ hands, especially cosmetics, chemicals and other stuff. The normal height of vanities is 30 inches, so you may want to get something taller than 30 inches.
  • Toilet. A standard-sized toilet is the best size to get for your bathroom. It can still be a little higher for your kids, but using a non-slip stool for them to step on and a child-sized toilet seat will be appropriate for them. Make the toilet seat easily removable so you can put the standard seat for your use.
  • Bars. Holding bars are no longer just for old people to help them get up from the toilet and hold on while taking a shower. They are useful for kids too. Install bars in the shower, on the wall by the toilet and one by the tub so they can get up and down quickly, without slipping.
  • Storage. Besides your stuff, you can also place a basket for your kids’ toys, in an area and at a level that they can easily reach without having to step on a stool. It’s inevitable that toys will take up your entire house, even the bathroom. Placing a storage basket for their toys will make your bathroom more organised.
  • Hot water. This is probably the most dangerous thing you can find in the bathroom. Some kids may not know how to control the temperature of the water in the shower or tap, so using an anti-scald device to place on taps and shower heads will control the amount of hot water that they release, thereby protecting your kids from getting burned.

You have to take into consideration everyone in the family when you build or remodel parts of your home. Kids tend to have accidents doing even the simplest things at home.

Why Choose a Cambridge Summer School

April 4, 2019 by Dan

Summer school is an invaluable way to increase knowledge and experience new ways of learning, and Cambridge summer schools offer all that and so much more

One of the most effective ways to prepare for university – and your life and career beyond – is to enrol in a summer school programme. No other method of revision or university preparation is as immersive, as intensive, or as rewarding as studying the subject you love at university level for the very first time. You will increase your knowledge, your confidence and social skills, while learning new ways of thinking and of improving your academic practices.

Of all summer school locations, Cambridge has to be the very best. Immerse Education summer school in Cambridge offers courses right in the heart of Cambridge University, one of the most prestigious and inspiring institutions in the world. Here are just a few ways in which Cambridge summer schools like Immerse Education are unrivalled.

The city

The city of Cambridge can trace its roots all the way back to Roman times, and the University was founded in 1209, making it one of the oldest in the world. Few other summer school locations can offer such rich sense of history. When you’re walking down the city streets, you’ll be following in the footsteps of greatness, as everyone from Charles Darwin and Alan Turing, to Christopher Marlowe and Sylvia Plath, as well as fifteen British Prime Ministers, at one time called the city and university home.

Modern life in the city isn’t so bad either. For many students, summer school is their first time living away from home, but the many cafes, restaurants, shops, museums, theatres, parks and music venues mean you’ll never be short of things to do outside the classroom.

The resources

As you might expect, being located within Cambridge University means that Immerse Education has access to a wealth of resources. Cambridge colleges are some of the best funded in the country, and this enables Immerse Education to offer its students a rounded educational experience. English literature and creative writing students will have access to some of the university’s 114 libraries, while medical and science students will be able to combine up-to-the-minute technology with their tutorials to get a real sense of what their future profession involves.

Immerse Education’s greatest resource however has to be the tutors. Our tutors hail from leading universities like Oxford, LSE, St Andrew’s, Harvard and (of course) Cambridge. The small class sizes mean you will get plenty of one-to-one interaction with them, so you can learn from their expertise and expand your knowledge and confidence under their guidance.

A taste of university life

Immerse Education summer school offers the very best taste of university life. All students are given their own room on the central college site, which are clean and secure, with high speed internet, and either an en-suite bathroom or one shared with just a few individuals of the same gender. You can explore the city, and take part in daily social activities, such as formal dining in the university’s medieval hall, a visit to the Shakespeare festival, lectures from famous guest speakers, and croquet or punting tournaments by the River Cam (two favourite summer pastimes of Cambridge students).

The community

Aside from the knowledge and academic experience you’ll gain, perhaps the most rewarding part of Immerse Education summer school is the friendships you will forge during your time in Cambridge. Our students come from across the globe, from the UK, USA, Denmark, Germany, Nigeria, China, and over a hundred other countries. They have different backgrounds, religions and outlooks, but all have two things in common: they want to learn, and they want to make friends. Meeting such a varied group of people will only serve to broaden your horizons, challenge your perceptions, and ensure that your summer in Cambridge is one you’ll never forget.
